STATUS & KNOWN ISSUES
Mostly, there's nothing to go down.
PlantStacks runs on your hardware — there is no PlantStacks cloud that can have an outage and take your operation with it. This page tracks the few online services around the product, plus known issues in current releases.
Online services
| Your installation | Runs on your hardware — check Admin → Health on your own install. An internet outage does not affect it. |
| License & billing service | Operational. Used only when buying, renewing or downloading a license. Already-issued licenses verify offline, so even an outage here never stops a running installation. |
| Downloads | Operational — installers + checksums at downloads.plantstacks.com. |
| This website | Operational. |
Updated with each release. If a service misbehaves and this page hasn't caught up, email support@plantstacks.com.
Known issues — v1.0.2
- Windows SmartScreen "unknown publisher" — the Windows build is not yet Authenticode-signed. Verify the SHA-256 from Downloads, then More info → Run anyway. A signed build is planned.
- Self-signed certificate warning — by design for a closed-LAN install; your browser warns once per device. You can supply your own certificate (security.tls.cert_path) if your company runs an internal CA.
- Email re-encoded .lic attachments — a few corporate mail gateways alter attachments, which breaks the license signature. Fix: download the license from the link in the same email instead of the attachment.
Fixed issues move to the changelog with the release that fixed them.
