ABOUT

Software you install, not software you rent access to.

PlantStacks exists because manufacturers were given a false choice: pay per user forever for a cloud that owns your data, or run twenty-year-old on-prem software that fights you daily. We build the third option — modern operations software you own, on hardware you own.

What we believe

  • Your operational data never leaves your building. Not for features, not for support, not for AI. The product is engineered so it physically can't phone home.
  • Everyone on the floor should be in the system. Per-user pricing pushes shops to share logins and lose attribution. Shop-floor accounts are unlimited on every tier.
  • Features aren't upsells. Every tier gets every capability; you pay for scale (seats + sites), not for permission to use quality management.
  • Offline is a feature. The internet going down should never stop a production line — install, activation, and daily use all work air-gapped.
  • Leaving must be easy. One endpoint exports everything as open JSON. A lapsed subscription never locks your data. Software that holds data hostage is broken.

The company

PlantStacks is built by PlantStacks LLC, a North Carolina company. It's deliberately small and deliberately self-service: the product diagnoses itself, documents itself, and supports itself, so the price reflects software — not an army of account managers. Email reaches a person: support@plantstacks.com.

70 capabilities

From inventory and work orders to SPC, document control and multi-plant sync — see the full list.

Zero dependencies

The core ships with no third-party runtime code — a deliberately small attack surface. The security story.
